Better, but it's really funny on the poliboard because everyone gets so pissed off and hypotheticals are often thrown around and points conceded for the sake of argument

Damn they already have a ROM up and running to the title and saves screens in Cemu emulator.

The Wii was essentially an upgraded GameCube and the Wii U is an upgraded Wii. They are all built on the same Power PC architecture. Wii U emulation is still a little early but it won't take long to get it to a playable state since much of the ground work has been done for GameCube and Wii emulation.
Also for anyone interested, here is a comparison video of the Wii U version of BOTW vs the Switch version. This isn't the 7 month old E3 Wii U footage most comparison videos have been using.

there is a lighting difference but i'm color blind...whatever the difference is, it's immaterial.

I have no doubt it looks better on the Switch but that video shows it doesn't look materially different (to me). The other good news is that I won't have a Switch to compare it against anyway.
