I don't get the hate for this game, I have bitched about the forcing of the SJW shite down our throats in the past but 12 hours in I am having as much fun as I did in the first one. Outside of Abby being a man child I don't have any complaints. The game is fun as hell.

I'm only 2 hours in and I don't quite get the hate either.

People were predestined to hate it without playing just as the critics were predestined to love it without playing.

We already knew Ellie was gay, that shouldn't be a shock to anyone. I haven't gotten into the story enough to decide if Abby being trans makes any sense other than appeasement of the LGBT community.

As far as killing Joel, I would argue that the full depth of Joel's character was explored in the first game. Ellie on the other hand was still am adolescent. Killing her father figure in the intro to a sequel makes sense to open up the story, even if it follows a darker path.

Does that come to a logical conclusion? Dunno yet, but I will make up my mind on my own and certainly not shite on a game I've been waiting for for so long because of something as dumb as what was leaked.

To be fair the reason for killing Joel is dumb as shite if the spoilers are right. At least make up a good reason to kill the character you grew to love.

Yeah, this site goes through cyclical periods where the looney toons get let out.

A lot of time, people on this site claim to be conservative (live a simple life and let people be) but a ton of people on here are so full of shite.

Honest question, how do we know yet if the story is good or bad? Watching cutscenes of a game just doesn’t cut it for me.

I understand people don’t like shite forced down their throat. That’s a natural reaction and everyone feels that way sometimes.

But with immersive media (video games) sometimes you just have to experience it.

I may end up not liking this (didn’t particularly like the first one that much) but I will decide that when I’m finished with the game

We know it's story is bad bc of what you are forced to do in the second half of the game. Without giving anything away. It's dumb regardless of how they spin it to us.

The game is super fun and much deeper than the first and I'm just like on the first day of Seattle. It's awesome gameplay wise.

You mean people that let people live their lives and aren't closed minded like you? I love women, but don't GAF what other people do on their own time. There are gay people, there are trans people, and as long as it doesn't affect my life I don't feel the need to rant like a retard as you do.

As far as the game goes as I said other than the man child (which so far you don't see much of) it's a great game. But please continue to attack people on a message board and rant as if you are holier than thou on a game you haven't even played.
