It might have died then, but more because of how the admins came down on this place BECAUSE of him (and a few others, I know), not because of his absence.
The guy was interesting, and for the most part, I liked him. He just let stuff get way out of control, especially his little feud with Stout. Moderation was not his strength.

The IM threads being canned had a bigger effect on this board than Sarges "departure". Non-stop e-feuds contributed nothing.
