Poor team is getting the Nickleback treatment.
Nowhere near as bad of a launch as many other games. Very playable state with 1 quick patch after a few hours and a big one coming today.
By all means wait a while if you'd like... just wanted to say dont base a decision to buy off the troll reviews.
Easy to get $40 worth of entertainment out of even in current state.

lol this game is one of he biggest scams I’ve seen in the industry. They marketed it as an open world survival mmo and pushed out a half assed wannabe extraction shooter riddled with bugs, lacking content and major QOL aspects. It looks like it was thrown together the day before launch.
They lied to the entire industry and did so by buying ads all over the internet and put a massive ad out in Times Sqaure. I’ve been following this game since its early development and it’s 100% a scam and not worth a dime. You don’t spend the money and resources on a that type of marketing when all you is a pile of shite.
Game will be abandoned by the devs before the end of the year just like Fntastic has done with their previous games.

2nd big patch 36 hours in.
As far as "marketing" the damned trailer itself says go find loot... bring back to sell for Woodbury coins... guess what you do in the game? Exactly that.

Star citizen is a scam... this is eastern eropean devs who built a better game in 4 years than most studios do in 10.
If it were " open world mmo" everyone would be hailing it as the GOAT already. Maybe it will be one day.
I just dont get how people get legit ripped off bt micros and people like chris roberts daily and this game gets 10K shite reviews in a few hours by a bunch of butt hurt children who were able to get their damned money back if they wanted to.

Yeah nah. This is a wait and see if ever there was one. Game looks kinda crappy and definitely not worth $40. Maybe $15 on a steam sale.

It's not even that. It's a complete dumpster fire. A game that's been in development for 4-5 years doesn't look like this. Especially when all of their assets are steam pack purchases. It's not a real game, its a Fyre Fest. Dev team has already abandoned multiple games in a similar manner. This one is no different. Its dead in the water.

The studio hyped the game up to no end, placed a bunch of pre built assets into a world, half-arse coded the functionality, and let it rip into the market. They have made millions off this already based on price x sales numbers with probably a few hours of work. You really think they're going to now put the thousands of man hours into making it worthwhile?

For reference, ConcernedApe singlehandedly made Stardew Valley in four years, which is one of the most beloved games of all time for thousands of people and a game I've sunk possibly more hours into than anything else.
This was a whole team with five years and put out this absolute shite. It was intentional.

They all abandoned the discord and there are still thousands of children just spamming non stop. Wtf are wrong with humans?

I got in a rabbit hole of sorts at one point. People would post their steam review and it would say something like " total ripoff and steam wont refund me even though i wasnt able to play more than 10 minutes"... time played 30 hours... time played at review 17 hours...
Go look at the persons other reviews and theyd leave negative reviews on gsmes they had 300-1200 hours on.
And there are thousands of people just like that.
Humanity is so fricked.

Dude the game was a scam. Their plan from the beginning was to abandon it. People being upset when a company lies to them for 5 years is pretty normal. The game failed cause it was never intended to succeed.
