Might go stay at a resort for a month or two until I find a house or something or I might just get spoiled by resort life and stay there.
Blue Diamond in Playa del Carmen has an all inclusive package for $3K per month. I would probably gain 70 pounds and need a new liver if booze is free, though.

No, but it's not that fun either. Maybe it's my perception, but every time I see him post, it's either to brag on himself or give someone shite.

Ehh...I do like to brag but some of what you think is a brag is just me being honest.
I literally asked the Travel Board about opinions/options on living in Tulum and get downvoted because people took it as a brag. It's absurd the jealousy others have of people being successful. I am competitive as shite but I don't hate on anyone that is successful. It just makes me work harder or at least it used to. Getting to a point where I am comfortable enough not to care as much.
ILoveBama can't stand me because he was giving people terrible real estate advice on the Money Board. Stuff that could have really negatively impacted people financially and he got pissy when I pointed it out but by all accounts he does well for himself now. He is living it up in Acapulco and I have no issues with that despite the differences he and I have had.
Point is I am not a jealous person so him mentioning his situation elicited no response from me. Others here on TD take anything they are jealous of as someone being a braggart.
Not saying I don't brag, because I do, but just saying your perception may be a little skewed. Again, it's hard to convey much on a message board.
