TDGB TOTD: Why does Charter/Spectrum internet suck so bad?

Finch, it's time we talked about cox.

okay, i tried to come up with some witty response to that, but i can't so i reply with a normal answer.


where i'm at, cox isn't an option. it's either spectrum or att. and att stops about a block away from my house. so technically, i can only get spectrum.

It is possible they were running new lines. I know in my area they have been doing that a ton, though the time of day makes that less likely.

I'd monitor it with the speed test website and if you start seeing a pattern of when your speeds and everything drop off, you'll have a record of it and can use that when you talk to them. I did that a while back when we were having some trouble with packet loss and jitter on our lines due to a person in our complex completely overloading the area. They came out around those times and monitored and fixed something, and it has been fine ever since.

they said they would. but not between 9pm and 8am. it was up this morning, but i still haven't gotten a call.

Just found out the parent company of where I work is putting together eSport teams for a handful of games. Sign-up is today. Looks like it's a charity league of different corporations.

Screw it I might tell them I'll be an alternate if they just need a warm body.

I've been playing the shite out of some H1Z1 on PS4 and I'm sure that doesn't exactly translate very well

Spectrum is the best I can get here in Hoover, AL.
