I think it was more of a "any and every add on will lead to a ban" type of thing.

Crazy. I guess it injects code or can be manipulated to inject code in to game files.

100% agree. Taking away cheaters will make getting killed for less bullshite. I had some dude fully auto laser me with a scar yesterday from like 250m. With iron sights too.
