Anyone get the version with the challenger pass? I wasn't about to be dropping $85 on a few more characters. First one seems pretty marginal anyway.

Well, I found out how to get the boat... he’s on Sheik’s route.
But there has to be another way. From Marth’s Path, there are at least 3 routes into Sheik’s.

I unlocked my last character this morning. Mewtwo fought valiantly but was overcome. Apparently he bested me during my drunken marathon unlock session last night.

Is the game as good as I remember it was back in 4th grade on Gamecube staying up to 3am at my friends house?
Or is this just nostalgia? May pick up a switch just for this.

Go to Games and More on the Menu....there's a door in the bottom right corner to rechallenge them in order. If you lose one, that's fine...you can still face the others you lost too.
Then go play a classic round, some vs battles or something come back and the ones you lost again, will be there again. Rinse, repeat.

I'm in the same boat, except I was a freshman in highschool when I ate, slept and breathed smash 64.
Also wanted to get back into Nintendo console gaming as I've been on PC only for damn near a decade.

I've been unlocking everything with Chrom exclusively for the most part. But in terms of Mains - Possibly Roy, Shulk, Simon, Rool, Chrom, Young Link right now.
I really really like playing as Inkling, but their potential in a competitive online match will probably have a low ceiling. I need to spend more time with them, but they are inefficient for unlocking, and that's been my focus.
Shulk is super dangerous this go around, he's probably my favorite to use in general.
I think Isabelle is a dark horse, honestly, along with Zelda, and Olimar. My Smash 4 standbys were Cloud and Bayonetta, I haven't really used them much.

I’ve only unlocked half the roster so far, but K Rool is standing out. That gun is fricking awesome.
