Steam SUCKS!!!

I rarely take the time to download or play games these days. But when I do, I expect that when I'm literally trying to hand over cash to play Cities Skylines II on Steam, I expect it to work.
No matter what I do, Steam's CAPTCHA does not allow me to proceed in creating a new account or recovering my old password. Just keeps saying that my CAPTCHA is invalid, no matter how many times I click all the bicycles or fire hydrants.
frick Steam and its developers- I've given up trying to buy the game because it simply won't allow me to login. I yearn for the days when I could simply install and game and play it as I desire.

One of my biggest pet peeves is companies that make it difficult or impossible to give them your money.

That game is on Gamepass, if you want to go that route.

Try this: LINK /
Also, Steam is amazing and has been making the lives of gamers easier for the last decade and a half.

Except when you're unable to play a game because its CAPTCHA programming is screwed up.
Having read the reviews now of this game, maybe saved myself the trouble of playing a buggy game at launch.
It's a shame because it had so much potential. But in today's age of download and patch, games aren't released with the throughness quality check that they used to.

I have never had this problem in the more than 15 years I've used the Steam app.
I bet you're trying to login through a browser, not the app. There are websites where the CAPTCHA will not ever validate using Brave/Chrome, and I have to switch to Edge to login. But that isn't Steam's fault.

I'm Team Steam
Whatever problems Steam has are nothing compared to when I'm trying to load up a game on the Xbox pc app

I forgot I even had the Xbox app installed.

I love Steam, too. I'm a patient guy, so I'm willing to delay playing a game until the next big sale so I can get it for half off or something. Sure, they have issues, but they are NOTHING compared to the nightmare that was "Games for Windows Live."

Do you use isthereanydeal.com to track sales, or something else? I essentially never buy a game from Steam, GoG, or any of the stores unless I get an alert that it's at least 60% off.

If you can't legally buy it then just download it on SteamRIP for free.

No real need with Steam. If an item is in your wishlist, Steam will email you anytime it goes on sale.

That captcha garbage is rage inducing. Microsoft had one that was so busted you couldn't complete it and it kept increasing the number of objects you needed to click to proceed.
