Eh a device I can surf the web on which give me access to my streaming services, and access to my over 1K games (don't laugh) Steam library. I spend a lot of time at hospitals with one family member having stage 4 renal cancer, and another that might not last the year. Worth it to me, but to each there own.

Same, but it’s still seems pretty cool for people that use Steam a lot. I have two steam games that I never play, as I have more fun on the PS5 and Xbox series X right now.

It's essentially a far superior switch.

Far more games, far better platform, far more versatility, can even emulate switch games as well as all other older consoles.

What's not to like about it

I'm very sorry to hear that. I pray for healing and peace for your family.

I don't have any good reason to get a Steam Deck, but it's not going to stop me. I've just always wanted a handheld that I can play PC games on, and it looks pretty great to me.

I’ve heard it’s clunkier and the battery life sucks.

Plus expensive.

I guess I only see this thing being used for me if I wanted to play computer games sitting in the couch.

What do you think of the Odin?

Who doesn't own an Anker these days? You can't expect to play AAA games and get 10 hour battery life at 60 fps.

I mean it's essentially a laptop crammed into a handheld form factor, it's incredible what they did. The switch can't touch the SD's performance

Only $100 more then a switch
