Equality under the law isn't social justice, it is civil rights.

Social justice, by any reasonable definition, is simply vengeance. A reckoning for ancestral wrongs.

The whole thing is a Motte and Bailey fallacy. People play along to seem woke, because they are afraid to appear otherwise.

It's the same in the church now. When the term "fundamentalist" surfaced, when you looked at it and you were a Christian and followed the teachings of Christ, of course you would consider yourself a fundamentalist. Then some writer wrote a negative piece on fundamentalism and from that point on it's become a dirty word within the church.

When you get to the roots of a lot of stuff, there's a lot of time good intentions and ideas behind it, but allow people to morph it and make it into what they want, it becomes bastardized or just taboo.

I think the problem with social justice is that the majority of people really just don’t give a frick. And because we don’t give a frick we wish they would all just shut the frick up about it(media/entertainment)Go have same sex marriage. Go kill your baby. Go fight for equal rights. Just keep us out of it. We just want to work. Pay our bills and enjoy our entertainment.

The problem is...especially with progressives....is the extreme distance they are taking things. They run on emotion and little logic. Progressives just make it hard to back them.

I don't like religion either.

Civil rights are good.

Social and cosmic justice are always morally bad, and can lean into outright evil if given too much rope.

As far as the game goes...I haven’t played. I know what happened to Joel and I just don’t agree with the handling of it. None of the other shite really bothers me. To me it will be just another sequel that failed in being better than the original...when it actually had a shot to be just as good or better. That’s the failure.

Stfu you soy boy. It’s so uncomfortable of a scene and no reason should it have been In. I hope this bankrupts them until they figure out that pushing political issues and SJW crap will only hurt them.

Justice is a subjective matter in the social structure of humanity.


Hitler thought the near annihilation of Jews was justice. Xi Jinping believes total oppression of the Chinese people is justice. But I’d like to believe the majority of the free world thinks the latter is an absolute lunatic and needs to be put in front of a firing squad or get gassed. The person who wrote TLOU 2 is wholly entitled prick named Neil Druckmann who believes his games break the mold with complex narratives and gameplay elements that make players uncomfortable rather than allow them to have fun per se. Gameplay takes a back seat to the story which is a big no no.

Neil is a prime reason why I hate American developers and posters like sicboy because you wonder why people like me and Freauxzen are such devout Nintendo fans...cause Sony’s putting shite out like this. Think I might even make a hot take thread later on that will really get some blood boiling in this place.
