Starcraft 2: What is your primary race and build order/build strategy?

I just want to get inspiration to play as a different race and/or tweak my build for my primary race. You can offer suggestions to my build order/build strategy as well
I understand build orders change against certain races. And it changes through the game, but there are some things that are constant.
Terran
CONSISTENTLY WELL-TIMED OPEN
- Produce SCVs up to 10 supply (unless wall is needed)
- Supply depot
- SCV
- Barracks
- SCV
- Vespene Refinery
- SCV
- Barracks
NEXT STEPS
- Produce marines
- Reactor on barracks
- Factory
- Tech lab on barracks
- Tech lab on factory
- 1 siege tank
- Research siege
BASIC PROGRESSION
- I'm obviously making marines and marauders the entire time
- Once one siege tank is made I try to expand
- I build another vespene refinery
- I upgrade expo to planetary fortress
- I get the shields upgrade at the barracks
- Build a starport
- Research stim-pack at the barracks
IF/THEN BUILDS
* My count is 2 barracks, 1 factory, 1 starport that are producing continuously
- If I have extra minerals I double my barracks
- If my opponent is massing a unit, I build against it by adding another factory or starport
- If undecided my default is to get to battlecruisers as efficiently as possible, including getting another expansion to utilize the vespene geysers there
AND THEN
- Focus on upgrades
- I roll out when I have max supply and build more structures to replenish my army more quickly
- Dominate.
I don't expect responses as detailed as this.

Get you some medics and medic shuttles. Works great against zerg. If playing against toss get marauders with concussion shells.

Toss or Zerg
Protoss build (1v1)
9 pylon
12 gateway
15 nexus
Into robo
Zerg (1v1)
9 overlord
14 hatch
Into roaches or muta
4v4 or 3v3 I go either 4 gate or 14 pool because I hate to lose early game.

Zerg exclusively. Usually go 15hatch, sometimes go 12pool to mix things up

I play pretty standard zerg and terran up until you tech past tier 1.5 units and then I'm crazy all over the place. Do any of yall get together and play/practice? Wouldn't mind joining up.

I played Protoss mostly. Mostly 2v2, so build order would change a lot. In 1v1 I'd either 4 gate or rush colossus depending on what I think my opponent is doing.

Zerg
ZvT - 15 hatch / 15 pool
ZvP - 15 pool / 16 hatch
ZvZ - 14 gas / 14 pool / 21 Hatch
I doubt anyone on this board could beat me 1v1.

-Nice balanced build that allows you to counter anything
SCV's, mules, marines constantly.
Make sure you wall in and scout for cheese or tactics.
Keep producing marines/medivacs and do drops to harrass the economy. If you can do some damage, out-macro them.
Combat Shield
Concusssive/Stim
+1 Weapons
Siege mode
+1 Armor
Tech to fight opponent
Expand about around 8-10 min mark.

6rax push
banshee play
early bunker rush
for other races
protoss seems to be pretty micro heavy
zerg tends to be very macro heavy
I'm going to try zerg. The speedling/baneling play can be very powerful in the early/mid game.
And they can do a tech switch so quickly.

Protoss here.
9 pylon - use first chrono immediately after it finishes
13 gateway
14 gas
16 pylon
Cyber Core as soon as gateway is done
Second gas
Second Gateway
Robo
Chrono out observer and immediately send into their base to see what units they have
React completely based on scouting info
Against zerg, early I go heavy zealot/sentry. Against protoss I go heavy stalker/zealot, but make sure to have a sentry or two to force field off the ramp in case he decided to all in with early marines.
Mid game be sure to have either observers or cannons out to stop DTs/cloaked banshees/infestors. If you don't do this, and they hit, it's game over.
I'm around high-gold level 1v1 at the moment.

Expand early and learn to hold off cheeses!

I am in the process of trying to copy dApollo protoss builds. Of course the dude is a much high skill set as I am in sliver and he is a EU master/GM. However he has great tutorials on builds and why you do certain things. DApollo's youtube.

I always open up these threads because I had the first starcraft and I liked it and still want to get SC2, but then I start reading and realize I haven't a fricking clue what you guys are talking about.

Silver Terran: Hieur Code:695 Add me if you want to practice/discuss strategy. I've watched starcraft 2 for a few years but just recently started playing the game.

Right now, I'm following MMA & MVP.
MMA is all about map control, unit survival, and tactical drops/ pushes. If you can destroy their economy it's way over.
MVP is macro defensive and pushes out with a devastating mech ball. His macro and APM are insane.
- Pectus, pick a pro that best fits your current style, or how you want to play... and steal their builds.

If you haven't already, check out Day9TV. Very informative and often times entertaining.
Shameless plug, I know, but it's worthwhile, IMO.
Don't ever stop making SCVs

You should make your second command center an orbital as it is easy to defend with your units. Also you should know the timing of certain builds to know what to look for.

Aladys : 316 if anyone wants to practrice against a diamond zerg

Awesome ideas and builds all around, guys.
Roland, I think I'l do the orbital command in my natural expand, and use planetary fortress in other areas. I really like the security the planetary fortress provides though.
To Josh Fenderman, fellow Mr. Show fan, I actually had to talk myself into getting SC2. My reason was a bit different, but I'm glad I made the switch. It made me a gamer again.
Like you guys suggested, I do watch matches and day[9]. One concrete thing that I learned after watching the touted "longest match ever" was if I have a structure alive during a base rush, I win if I eliminate my enemy's. So about a week after seeing that I was stuck in a situation that was a base rush. I had the better army, but not good enough to defeat my opponent since he was tearing away at my buildings faster than I could get to him and finish him off. So, once I was really low on structures, something clicked and I tried to look for an SCV on the other side of the map (my only SCV
), found one, and built a supply depot. Once the opponent saw that my army sat between him and my newly erected supply depot, he GG'd me.
I learned more things than that from videos, but like I said that was a direct impromptu decision aided by my "research".
