I hate you! At level 68 I finished it twice and last night got 3/4 through, I would kill for a finale of lvl 60's.
And I don't know why, but the last GW battle always seems easier than the 3 or 4 before it for me. For example, I did face a few 64ish level guys before that.

quote:Most of my fights were against Sid, too. Just not that last one. But I would rather fight Sid than Fives. Sid, you just have to kill him before he puts heal immune on somebody (he always leads with his AoE). Fives just counters almost everything, and it takes a lot of shots to kill him.
and no sid. i think i have to battle a sid in almost every round.

It helps if you have Bariss Offee, she can heal through Sid's anti healing. She only has a swing attack is the bad part.

quote:I don't have her, I use Lumi. I like Lumi's heal because it heals over multiple turns. I try to plan my battles so that Lumi heals on her first turn (right after the initial flurry). Then everyone else uses their specials to take out most of the other team, and usually when I'm down to one opponent my guys are STILL getting heals from Lumi, and are near full health. Often I will just use basic attacks on the last couple enemies so that I don't kill them too fast. I can usually burn another turn off Lumi's cooldown so she can heal first turn in the next fight.

I use her too, but my Offee has higher HP and allays heal before each turn.
I actually finished a GW today for the first time since I posted it was too easy haha.
What characters do you use for GW?

Im usually getting into the final stages if not winning it now. I run a Lumi (L), Sid, JC, GS, and IG-86. I also have a fairly decent team to throw out and kill off people if I meet someone a lot higher than me.

Nice, I'm using Lumi, BO, Dooku <-> Fett, Assaj, and GC

I've been running QGJ lead, Lumi, Sid, Phasma, and Kylo. Sometimes I will swap in Han for somebody, or if someone dies. I've been losing 1, sometimes 2 characters tops lately, over the whole run.

At 68 to 69 I started winning again. I wish you could freeze your level for a length of time

I've won 28 times. Been playing for about 40 days. I've had some lucky ones but I've also had a lot of battles I had to restart 15+ times to win without losing someone or having acceptable losses.
My team is usually Sid(L)/QGJ(L) Lumi, Asajj, Geo S. I prefer Sid for the extra crits, but if I need more speed to beat out the other team I use QGJ. Asajj is slow as dirt, but man she hits hard and lifesteal doesn't care about healing immunity.
You can control what happens to some extent in the fights. For example, the enemy will usually attack the same spot on your team, so if they hit your weak guy, restart and put someone who can heal or take the damage better in that spot. If you use GeoS, QGJ, or another person who calls to assist, they always call the same spot on your team in the beginning. So if GeoS calls a weak attacker, I can restart and put Asajj there for a big hit and possible stun. QGJ calling GeoS is nuts. GeoS can crit and gain 30% turn meter, dealing huge amounts of damage and possibly gaining offense up and maybe kill an entire enemy himself with his special.
I tried to resist leveling Sid, but his leader ability is just too good for arena.

I don't think I've faced a team that has been less than 10 levels below me for the last month at least. I haven't even had to use JC's heal once this week. The other team usually gets one total attack off, as I one shot just about everyone and my whole team goes before theirs.
I use HK(L), 88, 86, GS, and JC just in case a heal is needed, lvl 65.

Mine haven't been quite that easy, but still easy enough that none of my guys died today.
Also, I will be able to get Yoda when the event opens again. I obviously still have my Lumi at 7*, and I already got JC and Mace to 5*. I will get QGJ and Eeth to 5* over the weekend.
I really can't see myself getting all of them any higher in order to get Yoda higher any time soon, so I think JC, Mace, and Eeth will be 5* for a while. QGJ, though, is already making a big difference in my arena and GW at only 4*, so I will probably take him on up to 7*. I put him at lead with Lumi beside him, and it doesn't seem to matter much who else I put with them.

I got fives a couple days ago and might try to farm him. He seems to be strong when I'm facing him, but sure he will be weak as hell when he's mine.

My starting lineup is pretty much the top row. Usually lead offee because of her healing. I may switch to Lumi once she gets a little more leveled up. I usually swap in/out Osaka for talia. Still haven't finished a Gw in like 2 weeks.
Btw- before y'all say anything, I'm saving that gear level on offee for my daily tomorrow.
Eta: just got asaj to 7* today

I don't understand how people star up their characters so fast. It feels like I'm missing a crucial part of the game that's keeping me from advancing.

Dlauw has spent some coin to get all those characters that high, so don't feel bad. Looks like he took advantage of the heroine package.
I have no problem with spending what you want on games. I spend a bit when I feel like it, but I find I enjoy it more if I put more work in.
I'm lvl 63 and I have 1 7* and 1 6*. I finish GW every day and I rank in top 100 or top 50 every day in arena. I might have more stars if I didn't waste some on getting a larger pool of characters.

You should probably focus on a few characters that are easy to star. GW shipments are the fastest, followed by arena shipments. It's also pretty quick farming cantina battles. Cantina shipments and hard battles are the slowest to farm.
You should buy 1 cantina energy refill, and 2 regular energy refills per day. The cantina refill helps you farm characters there, and the regular refills help you get gear faster. Gear probably makes a bigger difference than stars do.
