I won like 15 games in a row last night, and haven't won a game in 7... this game can go in huge swings

Got my sea legs. Unlocked a few new guns and I've gotten a feel for how the game works. Definitely a fun experience.

Just wish that voice chat was implemented better and that I didn't have to sit through the briefing video every time I loaded the game.

First impression is JESUS CHRIST I need to figure out sensitivity settings I like fast.

Great game, played it all weekend.

How is everyone playing handheld? I like the motion controls but if I'm laying down in my bed, just sitting normal aims up to the sky.

It works fine sitting, but if I'm laying down I have to turn off the motion controls

Salmon Run is ridiculously fun. We should do a TD co-op Salmon Run once a week IMO.

Aerospray MG is my best one. With every level these new awesome weapons come out but this is still my go to and most effective.

I suck with them but some people are so good with the splat dualies I don't stand a chance with any weapon

I have to rescind my snark in previous threads about not being able to find a Switch in store, particularly when NOA said that they would be more prevalent coinciding with Splatoon 2's release.

We played it on launch day Friday at a friend's. Turf War was no biggie, but Salmon Run was unique enough that my wife said she'd buy that as a game itself.

Mrs. Vox and I saw 5 of them (Switch consoles) at a local Target (Woodstock, GA) on Saturday night, and we successfully adulted and left without a Switch.

Then came Sunday, when we saw them at another Target. We did not win. Left with the console and the game. It's been pretty fun so far. I still think it's idiotic that they don't have a single console couch co-op. Everyone has a flat screen HDTV now. Suck it up and go split screen, for Christ's sake. Having to have 8 Switch owners to get in the same room is idiotic.

I don't understand how a company who's so innovative can be so tone deaf to a concepts as simple as couch co-op.

I think the n-zap 85 is my new favorite weapon... If I have a 50% non-braindead team I win almost every time. I even won 2 games last night with afk'ers on my team!

Well I just got to level 10 so I've been limited to turf wars

I'm kicking squid butt with the Aerosoray too, was going roller before that, just unlocked it and now I'm cleaning house, great weapon and good special

I still don't understand NOA's rationale behind the map rotation, and I DEFINITELY don't get why Salmon Run isn't up 24/7.

It's like no one at Nintendo grasps modern online gaming, and they're unaware that other companies figured it out literally decades ago.
