or at the very least make sure your team did and go back to it before the end of the match to finish up...
but yeah, there is a lot of discussion about this on other forums. "Don't take away easy "p" for me after I die.
My response to that would be: "Don't Die" - and if you are staying at the spawn after you die... that doesn't bode well for your team anyways

Splat Zones seems to be really hard for them to balance team makeup. It seems every game is a direct 0-100. Whoever holds it for the first 30 seconds is winning. No comebacks, no pushing. I've started to hate that mode. I neither like winning or losing with such imbalance.
On the other hand, Tower Control is just awesome fun. It seems every game is a constant back and forth.
Favorite Weapons now:
Squelcher Duelies
Carbon Roller
Splattershot Pro/Tentatek Splattershot
Also Tri-Slosher and Krak-On but those are more situational.

Turf Wars is fun, but man when you get to Salmon Run and Tower Control, it's hard to go back to Turf Wars sometimes.
Additionally, they really need to let Cash ALWAYS build up. Hate that in ranked if you are losing (see Splat Zones comment) you make a pittance. I don't mind not taking the XP, but when the market to get the clothes and stats you want is so expensive, it's a little unfair.

I just checked at I've put 34 Hours into Splatoon over the last week... holy cow
I'm currently ranked "Go-Getter" with Salmon Run (3rd rank) and C on Tower and Rainmaker... I haven't played the zone control enough to do anything rank wise.
I'm also level 18 - and working on unlocking the splatfest shirt over and over and over again to get those sweet arse cards - so I've been playing splatzone with different weapons hoping for fresh bonuses

I don't know if it's new to 2, but you can "clean" your abilities off your clothes for a price from the guy next to the online lobby. For the splatfest, it's only 2k a pop. The abilities you clean off can then be affixed to other clothes. You can also use the abilities to reroll somehow as well, but I haven't done it.
For reference, the cleaning process is usually 20k for a 3 ability item like the splatfest shirt
ETA: the 2k is only for the shirt

I was wonder what that "abilities" section in the menu was and where those were.
I need to play with the splatfest from now on, unlock all the stuff, and scrub them and repeat.

Yeah, the ability to move the unlocked abilities from the Splatfest shirt to other items is definitely new.

It can be done on ALL items now. The shirt just gives you a huge discount. THIS is why I said I needed more gold: at 20k a pop it's going to be EXPENSIVE

If it's anything like the first game, there will be a point where money becomes pointless in the end game. You'll have bought all the weapons and gear. It just accumulates. That'll be a good use of cash.

I have been accumulating drink tickets from salmon run and didn't even know how to redeem them... I have ~30 of them now. Salmon run gives out the food tickets like they are going out of style, and is extremely fun to play.
But if I had to guess, the reason it's not open all the time is these tickets are going to end up being broken as well.

You redeem the drink tickets at the same Crusty Sean food truck locations as the other tickets. The drinks are on a different tab.

Yeah I finally figured it out. Since the drink tickets are for equipment experience, and most of the time when I'm getting experience it's for the equipment, I'm pretty excited to use them after my experience ticket expires

Is there any benefit to wait to the splatfest tee gets all 3 slot rolls before scrubbing it can u just scrub after every first one?

Holy shite this game is fun.
I never played the first one on my Wiiu. Just picked up the second one. It is awesome.
And I would like to eat some crow on the chat ability. It would make this alot of fun.
