It was Qualcomm wasn't it?

I was just reading the other day about the Snapdragon 855 will be the first 5G chip paired with the X50 and it's going inside the Galaxy S10. Glad I held off on upgrading my S8+.

Did that site just call Michael Pachter the "world's foremost gaming analyst, who has a great track record"

Pretty much everyone calls him that FYI.

DICE, one of the biggest game devs even calls him that

quote:

The most prolific analyst in the videogame business, Wedbush Securities' Michael Pachter will be talking about "Gaming Life After the Console" at D.I.C.E. Europe 2015.

If PS5 truly was coming out in 2019, I think there would be more actual smoke. There's only even been a handful of games announced so far for next gen consoles.

the introduction of the PS5 will be at the end of 2019

Are two very different things.

This is mainly the reason I'm holding off on a PS4Pro anyway, but if I'm less than 2 years from the 5 I'm likely definitely holding off now.

PS1: 1994
PS2: 2000
PS3: 2006
PS4: 2013

So what about every 6-7 years. 2019-20 would fit the typical timeline.

PS1 was 94? Wow, really doesn’t feel like it’s been that long.

Explains the lack of FF7 remake news, too.

Bet it's a release title. If it is, that's a knockout punch.

The whole article is clickbait. Just garbage to get clicks during the down time.

Yeah there's a lot of smoke for 2019 over in Japan where this guy is from that made this call. There's a reason big sites like DualShockers and Esquire went with him versus not posting your typical rumors.

I'd bet TLOU2 and FF7 remake are PS5 titles, but I've said that about TLOU2 from the get go. It just makes too much sense to drop your biggest title with a new console to push sales.

And now that we are entering Sept 2018 with still no release date or talk of a release date, time is becoming a telling factor.
