Worth getting? I like the idea of the scaling leveling zones

Really really early for a verdict to be out seeing as how the first raid and M+ isn't even out yet, but the story is fantastic and the zones are being well received on both sides. Classes still need to be fleshed out, but I expect that to happen as Azerite gear gets going similar to how it took a bit of time for the artifact weapons to ramp up.

It’s good so far, probably a solid A.

Long way to go though.

I picked it up, I played legion right up to the first raid and that was that so I'm completely lost. I have characters scattered all over the place so trying to make heads and tails of that too.

What is the best dps class right now? I was doing fire mage and destro lock I think in legion

Not entirely sure, I only tank.

From my experience, hunters/demon hunters/ret pallies always seem to be top DPS in my groups.

I enjoy it so far.

Eh...not a huge fan of it. It makes leveling pretty sluggish. I like that you can't get "too good" for a zone, but at the same time it sucks because you never feel like you're advancing. I've got a level 88 hunter I'm working on and every fight feels the same as it did when I was level 10.

How so?

I enjoyed being able to hop between different zones if I ever get bored of a region.

The only part of leveling I thought was sluggish was when I did Drustvar -> Tiragarde -> Stormsong. Stormsong, IMO, is the more of the grindy zones and when I got to 118 on my first go through, it felt really bad. I didn't like doing those in that order.

I recently did Stormsong -> Drustvar -> Tiragarde and it felt much better. Drustvar is my favorite by far.

Mage is setup right now that they will have a solid spec for a bit. I've seen Frost and Arcane do really well in the mythic dungeons I've done (haven't seen much of fire, that doesn't mean it's bad). I think Arcane is one of the better overall specs in the game numbers wise right now.

One of my two "mains" is a Warlock. Destro is probably the go to in dungeons because of it's consistent AOE/cleave (I also leveled Destro), but it's looking like Affliction is going to scale better into raids because it has better single target damage.

From 110-120? I didn't have much problem with pacing there. It was 1-80 that was the worst.

I should have been more specific. I basically went 110-115 in Drustvar, 115-118 in Tiragarde. The 118-120 in Stormsong was the part I didn't like. I thought the pacing was really good up until that part. Probably because I just didn't enjoy Stormsong.

I enjoyed the level scaling in the Legion zones. I would hate how they scaled the entire old world though.

Any Warlock spec will work right now. They're all good. DPS specs in general are pretty balanced with the exception of Feral Druid and Shaman being arse. If you're going to play mage, I recommend Frost. It's performing extremely well right now and feels really good.

That's the consensus. Stormsong is generally regarded as the weakest of the Alliance zones, it's also insanely long. I chose to go to Stormsong first on my mage and I'm nearly 116 and I've only completed 6 out of the 8 chapters.

Should stormsong be done first then?

Most people I've talked to say just do Stormsong last. I guess it's what you prefer. If you'd rather be close to or at max level for the other content, then it's a no brainer to do Stormsong first.

I will do Stormsong first on probably every alt from now on. It's all preference really. I just want to get it out of the way so I can get to the zones I enjoy more for when it starts to take a little longer and feel like more of a grind.

A lot of guides say to do Drustvar, Tiragarde, then Stormsong because they say Drustvar is suppose to be "harder" and to do it when your Legendary items still work, and Stormsong was suppose to be easy so to leave it for last. I just don't really like doing it in that order.

I really enjoyed Drustvar. T Sound was alright and Stormsong was just kind of bland.

How many of you guys are playing Alliance? I might start a TDGB community so we can start running some stuff.
