So if EA and Activison are crap companies, who's the best?

Just as far as producing games. I would say Rockstar but some people had mixed feelings about GTAIV. Now with V around the corner, the hype is pretty high.

I would say Gearbox, but that's with excluding anything they've done BESIDES Borderlands.

I have no idea. HL1 was a damn fine game, HL2 was a physics engine and I guess them not bringing up HL3 has made it desirable.

I only played the first one and then got HL2 yesterday to play the hidden. so I don't know what's so great about it

no, like I said, I played the first one when it came out and I loved it. just got HL2 yesterday for the hidden, but I started the single player so I'll beat it sometime soon.
I'm just saying people on reddit/4chan were saying "HL3 confirmed" all the time even when it wasn't funny or applicable
