Skyward Sword? I didn't like the boss fights. It wasn't fun to play at times.

Least favorite Zelda, was just ok IMO.

Would give it a whirl again on Switch though.

Yes, Skyward Sword. It's trash (for a Zelda game). The game is ridiculously linear, no real overworld to explore, you revisit the same 4 areas over and over again, no sense of exploration or adventure (it's supposed to be a Zelda game), there are barely any dungeons, you have mandatory Wii motion controls shoe'horned in, the first few hours of the game are brutally slow, you fight the same toe monster boss like 4 times and it's almost identical every time, etc.

It has little bits of pieces of being good here and there, which for a Zelda game is a quite damning thing to say.

Its pretty bad for a Zelda game.

There is nothing memorable about it.

Visiting the same three worlds over and over again was bad, I hated the desert world with the robots.

Fighting that same boss fight over and over again going up the stairs was terrible.

Not one dungeon sticks out to me in that game.

It was also odd, the game doesnt feel like a Zelda game to me, really weird game.

I want sicboy to hate on this game. It sounds like it’s justified.

I liked the world building in this one, and some of the creative takes on Zelda themes, but yeah, it probably is the weakest of the console Zeldas.

I would have much rathered a TP remake, I'd be ALL in on that.

Never played it. I hate motion controls so much, I'm thankful they released TP on the GC as well or I would have never touched it.

As great as BoTW is/was. All boss battles, and esp the final battle, were the weak link of that game.

Un-inspired and too easy. Lynels were better fights.

I will forever have Miyamoto's fail at e3 burned into my brain trying to "show off" the cool new motion controls of Skyward Sword

P.S: Skyward Sword is the only Zelda game I have never played or beaten... it just looked awful, and my friends who have played it confirm my suspicion anytime they talk about the game

Actually I would really love to see a fully remastered version of A Link to the Past. Completely upgraded to modern graphics and gameplay on the Switch

They just basically did this with Pokemon Lets Go from the red/blue versions. That would be really cool.

Skyward Sword was one of the few Zelda games that I know nothing about. It came out between the time when I played Zelda as a kid and got into again as an adult. So, when I saw the rumors for this, I was excited just to have a new Zelda to play on my Switch. The responses on this thread are really disheartening, though. I'll probably buy it anyway just because I love Zelda.

I guess they essentially did this with Link Between Worlds, although they completely reimagined a large portion of that game along with mechanics.

Yes. LBW feels like LTTP but is nothibg like LTTP at the same time. Esp with the wall/painting mechanic.

What a great fckking game.

So yes, wouldn't say it really is a remake.
