These guys are dedicated.

I ran Oblivion with a shitload of mods.

Strangely, they tend to make everything look way better. . .but use less resources.

Haven't tried the Skyrim mods yet, but will.

Jeff, is this shite legit? I need an offline game to play. Will this fit the bill?

I'm really enjoying it. If you liked fallout or rdr I think you'd enjoy this. You'd literally have enough single player content to last thru a lot of 2012.

Worth a look, you can tell within 48 hours if its your type of game.

Loved both. Still play them every now and then.

Do I need to play the other games? Are there other games? Forgive the ignorance. I just don't know.

They are stand alone, no need to play the previous ones. The game starts back in the Commodore 64 days.

I think I put over 100 hours into Oblivion. That's easily the most I've every played a game. I didn't even beat the main quest. I got stuck doing every single side quest I could find.

I don't understand why bethesda didn't put that in themselves

I'm gonna jump on the large address aware patch once I get home from work today

You realize the side quests are procedurally generated right?

The game will just make more and more and more.

Skyrim looks godly, wish I had time and money to put into it and upgrading my computer.

I usually wait until all the bugs are sorted out then apply a few of the minors mods, the big ones are usually incompatible.

I disagree.

The big ones are usually the best.

I had natural faces and Natural environments on Oblivion, and the game actually ran better, and everything looked way better.

Your point isn't relevant. Of course they are awesome, but they are usually incompatible with the smaller mods that I run.

Glitch fix mods and natural faces are money.

No more dirty faces is nice.

Large Address Aware is a damn MUST have.
