It will have 1 controller for $70 and 2 controllers for $90. It will also have 40 games. I can’t wait to get t and hack t with my favorite games on it. I know there are slot of emulations and I have those but I love collecting them.

How different will this be from all the other Sega Genesis minis they've released over the years?

If the controllers last longer than a week without going kaput, then it’s already an improvement on the original SEGA Genesis.

Go to the 5:17 mark
This is actually made by sega and no atgames involved. This is the real version like the playstation, nes, and super nes minis.

Meh. Analogue (by far the best retro console maker) has one coming out soon. Get that instead.

You would think so because I believe that was the first game for the system.

They need one that looks like the model 2. That's what I grew up with.

Even without AT Games involved, I wonder how they can get a good package of games together.

The Sega library has been put on pretty much every console released in the past 20 years.

Just because I am playing E-Swat on the original three button controllers doesn’t have significantly more appeal than playing it on the PC or Switch.

And the library pales in comparison to the SNES. A lot of the "great" games haven't exactly aged well.

SNES had one of the largest game libraries ever.

My only criticism is the inclusion of the three button controller as opposed to the 6 button.

They probably went with the 3 button because some games couldn’t handle the 6 button controller and would bug out. I know Mario Lemieux Hockey did in particular.

Besides that the main games really making use of the 6 button were fighters like Mortal Kombat, Eternal Champions, etc.

Krikzz and 8bitdo both make excellent wireless 6 button controllers.

Yeah, it was really only necessary for Street Fighter 2.

Will those work with the classic?
