Rocket league free to play revitalizing the game

Anyone else on here enjoying the rocket league free to play.
Sure they fricked up the menus but, the queue times are so much better. of course it helps to have over a million players online at a time.
Should be a great success hopefully epic doesn't ruin it with monetization

Just noticed it went free to play. Might hop back into it and try to relearn everything again. Haven't played it in years.

I have 415 hours on the game since July 2015 and I still can’t do aerials well.

If you're on PC I believe there is a $10 credit you get on the epic store which you can then cover the rocket pass for the season as well. That may have expired by now though.

I think i've put in around this many hours just during covid. NYC lockdown and reduced work hours left me with a big void to fill.

I started playing about 5 months ago and have really enjoyed the game for the most part. Since the update I haven't been "on" with my play. Everything feels laggy and I just can't time anything up. Really frustrating because I was knocking on the diamond door in doubles and now I struggle to stay plat 2

I peaked Champ 1 but haven't really played in a few months. I'd be down to de-rust with anyone learning the game.
Not sure if you can party up cross platform or not. I know you can get matched up cross platform, but not sure about parties.
