Resident Evil: VIIlage demo coming to PS4/PS5 April 17

Village:
North America: April 17 @ 5pm to April 18 @ 1am (Pacific Time)
Europe: April 18 @ 7pm to April 19 @ 3am CEST
Asia: April 18 @ 5pm – April 19 @ 1am HKT
Castle:
North America: April 24 @ 5pm to April 25 @ 1am (Pacific Time)
Europe: April 25 @ 7pm to April 26 @ 3am CEST
Asia: April 25 @ 5pm to April 26 @ 1am HKT
60-Minute demo
Village & Castle:
North America: May 1 @ 5pm to May 2 @ 5pm (Pacific Time)
Europe: May 2 @ 2am to May 3 @ 2am CEST
Asia: May 2 @ 8am to May 3 @ 8am HKT

It’s only a 30 min demo. I’m just hoping it feels like a next generation game. I’m ready to see the ps5 pushing the limits.

Not a good reviewer as I was 7 drinks in when I remembered it was only open for a few hours.
I can’t speak to the graphics or audio but it plays just like 7. Can’t shoot worth a shite with a base pistol. Otherwise it seemed to just show off the environment when searching for items and give a little story it seems.

Yeah I played it, and it seemed to go by quick. Kinda dumb to have 30 minutes of gameplay that’s interrupted with 10 mins of cutscenes. I wasn’t that impressed with the gunplay, but it’s in line with most RE games. Hopefully the crafting and looting system is solid, only messed with it some.

Sounds like the Uncharted fans will love it!
I also thought this game would be a fun game to watch streamed, but not really, it seems boring.
Also, did the voice acting seem off? It was awful imo.

I have all my resident evil stuff on Xbox, so I preordered there, but I went ahead and tried the demo on ps5. Liked it well enough, just seems like more 7 and that’s fine with me.
Not sold on werewolves and vampires in resident evil but I don’t hate the idea.
Based on the trailers, umbrella appears to play a role with this town so interested to see how this game plays into the overarching plot.

Okay, depends how they tie it into the world. It doesn't have anything to do with Resident Evil, unless they gave them some origin.

My favorite series along with Fable. I’m so pumped. The engine they use makes the game look crisp as hell.

Modern RE games have a really wonderful sense of exploration and discovery that is probably really hard to convey when streaming. One of those things you have to experience yourself to enjoy. I dont like streamers at all but I think these games would be especially awful to just watch

A Supernatural video game where it is focused on them killing those one episode monsters would be awesome. Make a couple big bosses like the Alpha Vampire and such

Crazy talk. RE7 was awesome to watch people play. Especially if they went with the VR.
