Rank the Metal Gear Solid games.

I'm ranking only the games I've played and completed, which is the main MGS games with MGS1-MGS5. Never played any of the PSP games because I never had a PSP.

1. MGS3. Everything that has been said about this game has been said. The story, the presentation. My favorite PS2 game ever.

2. MGS1. Started the modern franchise on PS. First experienced this game on a demo disc from Pizza Hut and I was hooked since. I remember being sad when the demo ended after you got into the vent in the area where the Hind helicopter was after you got the SOCOM in the truck. The Gamecube remake, The Twin Snakes, was excellent, just wish it had come out for PS2 or Xbox.

3. MGS5. I'm lumping in Ground Zeroes and the main game Phantom Pain into here. Just a brilliant concept and natural progression for the franchise as more and more people want open world experiences. Just depressing knowing this might be the last great MGS game thanks to Konami fricking everything up.

4. MGS4. An amazing game and my favorite PS3 game ever. It's an A+ game, but I realized it's the game I replayed the least. Probably one of the best displays of the PS3's capabilities. Can only imagine how beautiful it would have been on the PC.

4. MGS2. Good follow up to the first game. I can complain about the Raidan plot but that's been done before, so I won't. Essential early PS2 game.
