R6 Siege Has Finally Clicked for Me

After 4 downloads and 3 uninstalls, I am enjoying the game.
Imo a big part of new players in this game is hownintimidating it is. Learning the maps, however small, they’re very complicated in their approaches to the objective. Also, the community is very hit and miss with toxicity. On PS4 I feel it’s not as bad as Xbox though.

They’ve gotten the penalties down I feel like now. I don’t have near as much toxicity in ranked play as I used to.
If you don’t play ranked you’re missing out. Even if you suck arse it’s more enjoyable being able to pick your spawn or where the obj is. The lower anount of toxicity is just an added bonus. Although it does suck dick when someone doesn’t gaf and leaves the game after one match and you’re down a man for the rest of the game

Love R6 Siege, easily the game I play the most. The maps can be tough to memorize and I'm still having trouble with a couple of the newer ones like the new Hereford base and villa maps.
Agree with the poster above, rank is the best game to play.

It’s so bad you can get banned for typing anything even remotely close to a slur, even on accident.

Played ranked last night...

I’ve started to make this my main game. I’m much better than I was before, but the skill gap in this game is insane! Id day I’m a solid 5th man option on a team I can get a kill and hold corners etc but don’t ask me to clutch a match.
Lately my ranked kdr has been closer to 1.0 but when I started it was 0.4 :)

Lesion was my main for awhile. He’s actually the only character I have a positive kdr with in ranked

Bought this and Overwatch on this latest sale. Loving both. R6S is really hard but im enjoying Thermite alot

I’d recommend alwaysnstaying with/near someone. Watch how they clear rooms, pay attention to where they’re shooting and where the shooting is coming from. I piggy back’d off the back of my buds for the longest time and still do from time to time.
Siege is not a game to lone wolf it unless you know your escape routes and have very good gun play.

The best way to get better is to solo queue as much as possible. Treat every round like a 1v5. After a while when you play with a squad, you'll notice you won't rely on them so much.

I’m getting pretty good (by relatively noob standards) at this game. I’m a level 37ish but I’m second highest ranked tier in my group of buddies who play this (Silver 3). Two of them were Plats back in Y1/Y2 then just recently got back in.
My ability to rover maps is increasing as well as my gunplay. Too bad the stats are broken right now, I’m probably close to a 1.0 K/D in ranked now after an abymissal start. Anyone else on the GB still playing?

Pulled a hard carry tonight. Went 15-3-5 with a 4 piece to clutch out the 5-3 win

Had some really shitty teammates last night...or maybe it was me Wish they'd bring back House and Plane for ranked, those are some fun games.
