It’s actually pretty ridiculous that they are making so much money off of cosmetics. Played with a random last night and he said he’s probably spent around $400 on Fortnite.

I think I’ve bought one skin and maybe 3 dances. And that was all from getting vbucks in Save the World.

I can’t get into the cosmetic craze. Never really been interested in that stuff. More power to the people that do.

Did he not want to play as the default strong fat girl avatar? He must be a bigoted trump supporter

If he plays enough, you should get enough of those v bucks or whatever to not have to keep paying for it.

If you are dropping that much on the game, prob not playing enough to justify it.

Yep buy the battle pass once for $10 and you can afford every season going forward without spending a dime due to the game giving you in game currency for playing. OP is getting worked.... I have some great once in a lifetime investment opportunities would you be open to further discussions?

yeah. my kids each handed me $5 and i signed in and bought the battlepass and they've got about 6 skins and tons of emotes and enough vbucks for battlepass next season. i bought one skin for $5 as a result of getting my first VR. never again for either of us.

i have had to talk them out of buying tiers and made them earn them the right way. they get pissed, but i tell them you can either get Omega like a man ... and save their vbucks for next season or be little turds that spent their way to him. hard lesson but they stuck with it.

OP got straight up duped.

This thread is great. The kid bamboozled the parent to brag to all his friends.

The kid broke the Xbox this weekend and dad took it straight to GameStop to get it fixed. Time that kid gets enrolled in travel ball or something

I forced my kids to take the semester off of sports because my wife had foot surgery.... right as Fortnite came out. Mistake on my part.

Ran a 5k with my youngest the other day and he definitely lost a step.

Enjoy summer kids because I’m going to ruin your lives this fall.
