Let's be honest, if walmart does this 4 scheduled times thing again, we will all try to get it again

I did all I’m willing to do. I’ll get one when I walk by the electronics section and see one randomly.

Leave it Sony to roll out a product and then not have enough manufactured to meet demand.

It’s like these buffoons never learn.

I tried every time. I also successfully added it to my cart every time, only for wal-mart to bomb out and then ultimately tell me it was sold out.

The online option isn't a viable option.

This is fricking bullshite. Had it in my cart and selected shipping info, and lagged out only to be told "Sorry, we're sold out." This is a clusterfrick if I've ever seen one

I’m thinking the PlayStation store is actually going to be the best bet. But that seems like pure luck on catching when it’s open.

Why does Walmart and the other major retailers refuse to install a captcha box and quantity limit to stop the bots?

It would go a long way with building customer goodwill.

Btw, Does anyone know when they'll be doing in store release or placing it online again?

Time?

Never tried Playstation direct or bought anything from it before. Barely heard of it before.

Well, I fricked up. Kept waiting for it to load in my cart and in the meantime, on the third refresh 3 minutes in, after waiting for the page to load noticed the little cart icon showed 1 item.

Got to the checkout page it had the console, hit checkout again and page loaded blank all white. All at blazing fast dial up modem speeds, took 9 minutes to finally time out you lose again.

I mean, if this cluster frick of a process where the initial 10 seconds at 9pm sharp makes a difference and scarcity is part of Sony's marketing strategy, shame on them.

Doesn’t say a time. I just randomly checked it at one of the times Walmart was releasing and lucked out. I would suggest trying at 8 or 9, 11, and 2 maybe.

This is directly from Sony—you have to log in with your PS ID to order on there.

Yeah, that complicates things but I will definitely try it out.

Do you have to add money to your PS ID or can you use your credit card?

Nope. You enter a credit card like any normal checkout. I would use google chrome because it allows you to save a credit card to your profile and autocompleted it for you.

I’d test it out on the site beforehand with a game but don’t place the order. Just so it saves your info.
