I can agree with this. They have been trying to hard to move towards the COD style of FPS, instead of using what made Halo 2 and 3 great.

Not every game needs a level up system to unlock weapons. That isn't what Halo is supposed to be like.

Dangit scruffy, you dragged me in to it.
I know the hardcore didn't agree with those changes, but they were changes that needed to be made to be made if they were going to attract a new crowd without COMPLETELY losing the core fanbase. I don't think the additions were over the top, and to me, it still felt like Halo.
I'm not MLG, so maybe that explains my opinion.

The ranking system in Halo 2 was the GOAT. I was okay with the equipment they added in Halo 3, but was just not a fan of adding jet packs and shite like that.
