What can the Xbone do that the PS4 will never be able to do? Cable integration? Meh. Xbone will never be able to do remote play, and for me that has always been a big draw of the ps3 & ps4.
Unless you really love the cable integration, I don't see either as great media hubs. Most people I know just use their last gen system for that. Hopefully that changes in the future.
I wouldn't buy either system until there is a game you really want or a solid list of exclusives. Definitely wait for the price drop on the Xbone if you decide you want that.

It works really well at home. Still too choppy away from home to play a game like Resogun. 2K14 was surprisingly nice and easy to play though. Only issue was getting used to the controls.

I agree. And for me I dont game all the time anymore so it is better for me have more of an entertainment system than a gaming console.
As I said before Im sure the PS4 is badass but Xbone is/was the right choice for me

yeah at work. but I've read the thread. plus I got a fricking tooth ache and can hardly concentrate to read right now -__-
I pretty much agree with everything said. yes, disappointing the One is 720P. Hopefully developers find a way around that. Yes, it's a great system with all the integration. But the PS is also a great system. Can't go wrong either way.
But mainly make the decision based on what your friends play or in his case the Kinect for the kiddo.

Also, the Kinect is pretty cool. I think the kid will love it. The waverace game (not actually waverace but it's jetskis) that is a demo is pretty awesome. It's just like a Wii but with good graphics and you dont need a controller. It reads your motions.
I think that would be very cool for a kid once the games are made. I had a bunch of friends over this weekend and some of the guys wanted to check out the XBone and after showing that game even the girls wanted in on it. It's gonna be cool when the games come out for it.

With xbox having Titanfall and Halo exclusives I personally couldnt imagine having a PS4

After the last Halo game, I've lost complete interest in that series. Halo 4 MP was terrible.
