PS4 Trade In Values

I did the PS5 preorder through Game Stop
Today I can get $140 trade in on my PS4 Slim at Gamestop. For top value, would it be better to trade in now or wait until the 11/12 release? Are the trade in values expected to drop between now and then?
I do have access to another PS4 that I can use in the meantime if needed

If you have access to another I would go ahead and trade it in. It will only decrease in value as time progresses.

They are giving a little bit more if you were trading towards a PS5 but I'm not sure if you have to trade it in at the time of preorder or wait until release

I got a $175 trade in for my PS4 slim to go towards my preorder
Can’t wait for the PS5 next Thursday

When did you pre-order? I think the deal is until Nov. 30th but if you dont already have a pre order you cant apply it.

I sold my pro on Amazon and got 275 back in September

I did my pre-order on the first day in person at a local GameStop . This was when they started pre- orders before they were supposed to. A GameStop employee told a friend and he tipped me off about it.

You get an extra $35 credit with a PS5 preorder (if you have it already) . Without preorder , my slim would have been $140 instead of $175
I think the promo is until November 30

I’m not going to buy a next gen system any time soon, so if y’all will be looking to unload some of your physical PS4 games, I might be in the market.
