i feel like those early nude scenes were by design by the writers specifically for the male viewership
wife - "honey, lets watch this new show i've been hearing about...its about a woman that goes to prison and about the friends she makes in prison, blah blah"
husband - "oh great, a chick show, this is gonna suck"
2 minutes into the show, eyes wide, mouth ajar
husband - "heh"
end of show
wife - "did you like it?"
husband - "it wasn't terrible, I guess I'll watch it again"
