My dad had a talk like that with me when I was a lad, so I think it's definitely worth it to make him aware.

When we're planting, take out one bomb site fast. Then plant, let them defuse. Kill. Repeat.

When we're defending, let them plant. Defuse. Kill. Repeat.

but i wonder why the kids seemed to keep it quiet
i read in a report that one of the mothers asked why her child didn't stop him. The response was - "He's like God to us. You don't tell Coach no."

according to the brief explanation of what the Second Mile Foundation is, these kids come from foster homes and from dysfunctional families. Those kinds of kids would be easy targets for him and he knew it.

i just took a snippet from the article. The Cardinals think he's a person that would know the Cardinal tradition, etc. more than anyone b/c he played against them for so long

i just thought it's funny that the Cubs can't even keep their own HOF's from coaching rival teams. RS should've been the Cub's coach years ago IMO

There is something strange about the Cubs organization that two regimes of owners and GM's didn't give Ryno the chance to manage at the major league level.

Theo Epstein is looking for a manager with MLB experience and he's had some pretty good interviewees. I completely trust his judgement. For now.

I'd like to see Ryno manage the Cubs because it'd be all hearts and lollipops, but that doesn't win games.

Joe Pa knew about this stuff and didn't do anything. Just as guilty IMO
