truthfully, the only thing that got me back to doing it was my bro-in-law wanting to start. He wanted someone to do it with, so i told him i would.

it's 10x's better with someone b/c i push myself not to let him beat me at any of the workouts. I don't quit until he quits

I need to get into p90.. running 2 miles a day isn't doing exactly what I want it to.

actually, if I would eat like that I might get better results than I'm getting.. I'm loosing a whole heck of.. well everything. I don't have as much muscle mass anymore, even though I actually look more cut.. it's weird.

I was up to 4.5 a night around a 10 min. pace until my achilles crapped out...still ain't right.

Black, can I do p90x with just the resistance bands that come with it (no dumbells/pull-up bar)? And how much pressure would that put on my achilles?

But you have to take in a lot of good calories to maintain/build muscle.

I guess making that statement out in the blue is kinda random.. I use to compete in Triathlons, but then the Tornadoes hit us on April 27 and I was forced to give up my gym membership. Since running didn't cost any money, I just kept running, and only running. My legs are like 65% more tone and bigger, but I haven't been working on my upper body at all over the last 6 months. So yeah, I've slimmed down, and bulked up in the my legs.. I just need to do p90 or something to get my upper body strength back.

ETA: FWIW I don't eat fried foods and try to stay away from red meat as well.

there are ways that you'd be able to use them where it shouldn't put any pressure on it at all. Most of the pull-up excersises done with bands are done by sitting.

some of the arm/bicep/shoulder work outs require standing on the band, but i'm sure you can rotate the legs so you don't apply pressure

P90X will help, but if that's the case, knock out a 100 push-ups a day and you'll be back in no time
