Let me ask you console guys this. I've been griping about my keyboard and how it doesn't function well for gaming, but last night, I thought my problem was more with the game mechanics. My big beef was when I was sprinting, and when I would hit shift to crouch, it wouldn't register right away. I'd have to stop, THEN hit shift, and I was good. It kind of dawned on me that maybe BF3 just doesn't let you do a quick crouch out of a run like that. I know you can "dolphin dive" while running, but apparently, no crouching.

Is that something you guys have noticed?

It's definitely not a quick transition. It feels like my dude rocks to shift his weight before he stands from crouch just like real life.

that thing will get you killed trying to deploy itself when you trying to win a gunfight

Bipods aren't very useful in conquest because we move so much. They are decent in rush when you are defending. I just use grips on all my guns.
