though the chopper C4'ing was annoying, it was rather funny.

i've come to the conclusion that we are the problem with the lobbies falling apart. we tend to push the opposition so far back on there heels that they quit. then when people get spawned into the game they quit. eventually we push the game so far back that the maps can't rotate. LAB

but really i think we end up shoving people out of the lobby and we should go re-start more often.

Hypothetical:

Say I got offered a job, but there is a cut in pay. It's a similar job with similar duties, however the hours are more favorable. Should I ask the potential employer to meet my current salary?

ETA: I guess I'm asking if that is negotiable. I say yes. I don't have to take the job, hypothetically.

Absolutely. If you have experience (not sure what you do) and are switching jobs/companies, a pay Increase is expected. Especially if you arent in need of a new job.

Everything is negotiable.

ETA: And don't be afraid to use your current situation as leverage.

yeah, you can even negotiate to have the same vacation, and other benefits that you already have if you are switching

and you should always give your existing job a chance to try to keep you

i've never done any job switching like this, but i know in our industry ajf, the way you make money is by moving around

This. They have clearly chosen you as who they want, make them a counter, for more than you're making now, and dont be afraid to walk away.

even if you have no intention of staying - it's a good way to get an extra bump in the prospective company's offer.

The worst they can say is no. But, if they like you then they can match or beat it.
