From what I've read, most Cardinals fans, me included, would like to have kept Pujols, but not at the price of hijacking the team for the next 10 years. Idiotic contract.

I read the Cubs want to offer less years, but more yearly money than longer contracts. Not a bad idea, IMO. And the Marlins look to be out on him, too. He would be a fool to go somewhere like Seattle or Toronto.

Maybe, but I think that's the trend for these aging fat players: go to the AL and eventually DH.
Prince to the Cubs doesn't bother me all that much. I'll be glad he's off the Brewers, who have more of a complete team than Chicago. Pujols would have just been a slap to the face for all Cards fans, like Damon going from Boston to New York a few years back.

I want to play tonight and suck it up some more but I have to go to my niece's Christmas program tonight at her school. Then I have to go home and work on a lighting control program for a customer.
The only good thing is that by doing this away from work I get to pocket what I make off of it. 170 devices at $25 a device equals honeymoon paid for.
