What level are you?
And I hope you're only using personas that you've fused
The other characters only get better personas by interaction with me correct? I was just weak in the first level. I went back to that dungeon a second ago and cleaned it dry.
Yes I am also using a fused persona. I might trying to craft a specific one for myself soon.

Those white ones look so damn good...
I was waiting for quite a while to grab a deal for a white one on there. The black ones were a good bit cheaper, but they don't look nearly as good as the white

I love my White Vita, grats man! and sales are currently on a very very steep rise for the VITA, some are even starting to say the VITA might end up with a much larger handheld share than the psp could have ever sniffed..
That being said.. the community keeps growing, we will only end up with better games, and better service.

Not true at all. They sometimes will learn new skills during interactions, but they gain 0 xp or other bonuses. Your other party members level up normally.
Your fused personas will get xp bonuses based on your social link rankings (If you have Magician Social Link at 2, you get a certain bonus on any persona that is of the Magician type). So, your interactions with them stand to benefit yourself mostly. That xp bonus is so valuable and usually equals 1 lvl up per social link level.

I know
They were going for $170ish about a month ago when I first started looking, and I was VERY lucky to get the one I did for $200. They're going around $230-$250 right now

Basically... I always need a red image type character in my games before they "lighten up" for me. Yukiko's presence as a true blm has allowed me to tailor yosaki into more of a red image role.. so basically the game has just opened up for me.

Huh?

a mage that can focus on debuffs, healing, etc
Before Yukiko joined the party, I felt like I had a party full of mages as well (not my favorite type of playstyle) so I was kinda just trying to "get to this point" to put it plainly.
Now that I have the 4 person party setup, I'm much much MUCH more at home with the gameplay, before then, not so much.. if that makes sense?

Main character is whatever you want him to be. I tend to go attack weaknesses first and then melee. Yosuke is a even mix. Chie is definitely melee first. Yukiko is a pure Mage though.

Yeah, exactly why the game has become more "open" to me at this point. It really feel more normal to me, in most RPGs you start off a melee and a mage.. this game, you end up going through the first real dungeon without a "real" mage.. was kinda crazy.

No, I love story games, but a lot of the vita story games are cartoony or weird.
I love games like Bully, Red Dead, Civ Rev, basically games with a great, believable story or strategy games

I guess that's fair to say. I liked old japanese games that they used to put out for nintendo and SNES but the ones that didn't seem overly ....anime-ish I guess. I loved Punchout(obviously) and stuff like that. But I never got into the weird hairdos, bad voice over, and saucer eyes of what you're referring to as japanese games
Red Dead had a great story, but I guess i'm talking more of the mission based open world element of it. Basically anything Rockstar has done is great and I wish they'd put out a vita game.
Now that a ton of people seem to be getting Vita's for Christmas it seems like better games will be developed for it. But I love mine either way with the few games it has just because of everything else it does.

Last night I got on it to play Persona 4, about an hour later I finally turned it on.. just so much to do on the thing it's crazy.

I think nostalgia plays a lot into this because there's not much difference (if anything, its more "manlier" or Westernized now).

Just letting you know that Punchout fits all of these perfectly...
