How is everyone liking it/what don't you like about it. I played the shite out of PGA 2k21, about to upgrade to a PS5 soon and going to get PGA 2k23.

If you've played a pga game, you've basically played them all. The graphics looked putrid on the announcement. If it's free on gamepass or ps+ i'll play for a bit, otherwise hard pass.

from my understanding (haven’t played it, but watched a few review videos) is that nothing really has changed in the last few years of the series. Still missing a lot of pro’s, a lot of courses, but the create-a-course uploads have that covered. so i passed again this year.

Started a my career in the korn ferry tour and won a tournament and got upgraded to play PGA events .
There’s so much customization you can do like club fittings and tests, I decided to not go that route and started playing ( don’t have that kind of time to trick out every little thing.)

I bought it last night and started my career to see how it was. It's the exact same game as 2K21, only with slightly more difficult quirks. The "Splash" shot out of bunkers, for example, is a complete joke. Half the time you duff it 2 feet back into the bunker.
Also, the customization options are fricking garbage. I've purchased 2 games in the last 2 years (This and Madden 23), and they're both shite.

Anyone playing this over EAs PGA ? Wouldn’t mind getting some games going, I debated switching but sticking with this as I enjoy the course variety and online exp

I got to do a free trial over the weekend.
I'm glad it was free....I'd say the game is worth $20 at max. Just not enough to it that would justify spending money for me.

What? They added an entirely new golfer progression system. Bunker shots if you mess up the downswing you are gonna have a bad time
