I can’t believe I stroked out on a hole in round 1 haha. I birdied that same hole in round 2. I was just being stubborn going for a certain shot over and over. Hit 5 water balls

I thought it was bad in the last tourney when I went in the water 2 times in a row stubbornly and finally hit the same shot successfully on the 3rd try. That's taking it up a few notches

Good to know. Will try to knock it out on my lunch break tomorrow, and if not, after work.

That Death Valley course was no joke. I put 3 in the water on one hole just trying to get back to the fairway

I missed 3 foot putts where I had to aim about 4 feet above the hole and still wasn’t enough

I believe I was penalty free in round and shot even.

I hit 3 in the water in round 2...and shot even lol.

Definitely feel disappointed though in shooting E for 2 rounds, but that was a quirky course. Water in weird spots, and the greens weren't bad altogether but a couple of them got me pretty good for 3 putts.

So the bonus purse was definitely a big add on to make the winnings a bigger deal. I did not get home in time to update today’s tournament winnings but I will update the rest of the tournaments as follows...

Regular: 200 added to the purse
‘Ships: 300 added to purse
Majors: 500 added to purse
Finals: 750 added to purse

My understanding is 10% of the entry fees automatically go towards the society bank. I will keep those bonus purse amounts that way until the bank can handle putting more towards it. I’ll get a better feel as the season goes on. Feel free to donate too haha.

Also, Btig went on a late night hyper bender and changed our logo and put boobs on the message of the day. Even though we are all degenerates and love big milkers, that’s strike one on his administrative abilities. Let’s hope he can contain himself in the future.

Congrats to IFITZ25 on the last tournament victory with Btig a 2nd place finish followed by shel311 in 3rd. As for oo CRAKR oo...you’ll get em next time buddy.

Play on, gents.

After speaking with Btig in more depth, I will consider changing our logo back to his suggestion of the purple themed Fleur de Lis to keep up with our LSU/Louisiana ties.

All in favor send reply with an AYE or any form of yes. The majority will result in the outcome.

Shot a bogey free -6 at Crowdcrest or whatever it's called. Easiest course we've had so far, we were due for one not so tough, so good timing there.

Also, I think I'm gonna need to look into upgrading clubs, specifically driver. I was checking some of the league stats, and you dudes are like the young 20-something whippernsappers hitting the long ball, and I'm like the old 60 year dude who doesn't hit em far but always hits em straight

I'm dead last in driving distance, I think like 25 yards behind some of you. But I'm first in fairways hit and missed rough AND missed bunker %. Slow and steady wins the race...or gets you 3rd place in my case.

I’m so unbelievably frustrated. Shot -6 with what had to be no less than 6 birdies missed by inches! I eagled 18 to finish up which makes me even angrier since it took making a pretty lengthy putt with a break! WHY WOULDNT THE BIRDIES DROP!?

frickKKKKK!!!!

I feel you man. It’s so frustrating. I lip out at least 3-4 birdies per round. But then I’ll drain 70 footers like it’s nothing. lol

LOL that because you over think the makeable putts and just put the aim out there on the long ones just hoping to make the second putt easy. I do it all the time.

Does anyone know if there is a website where we can view standings, past results, stats, etc? I remember Madden used to have a site where you could go look at your online league stuff.

No shite you ain’t lying. I just finished, +4 for the tournament (77/73/70). The fairways aren’t hard to find, but the holes are loooong and I just couldn’t get anything to hold the greens. Shots landing in a 10 ft circle around the pin and they just roll off the green. Very severely sloped greens. Pretty much scrambling for par on every hole. I didn’t get a birdie until middle of round 2.

Played 2 rounds of the major so far. I'm a disappointing -6. I was -8 through 8 holes in round 2 and shot +2 the final 10 holes.

I've hit every single Fairway through 36 holes, but - 6 through 36 holes won't be enough to win this tourney. Hoping for top 5.

I'm right on your heels at -4 on the 3rd round. I keep making solid shots then barely missing my birdies. Frustrating to say the least. The undulations throughout are making it very interesting.

Ended up at -9 overall shooting -7 for my final round. I really set myself back in the first round with 2 bogeys and a double bogey all due to poor putts. Good luck on your third round

No clue what it is about the back 9, but it's getting me again. It doesn't seem very tough.

I started out -3 on the front 9 to for a total of -9 but through 15 I'm +3 on the back 9 and back to -6.

Have a work meeting now, so will get the final 3 holes done a bit later, but I faded here at the end.
