No, I used it on wifi and it was fine. Even on my shitty laptop with a Celeron 900, Bioshock:Infinite streamed almost perfectly.

Yeah, my celeron could almost keep up 60fps/1080 on 1GB LAN but really wouldn't notice. If an i3, you are golden.

guys, can you tell me how true this is...

What can also help is rebooting or shutting it down regularly. Many applications can have what is called “memory leaks” where even if it no longer is using certain blocks of memory, they are still allocated. This means less for other systems. A reboot or shutdown clears this all out.

Didn’t think you would be getting a pc 101 class today huh?

got that in an email from a guy in IT here at work. is there any other way to do this than just rebooting?

I sold my rig.

I am building 2 new ones right now though. I want an AMD APU small form factor build that is silent for my computer room and I kept my R4 for a gaming rig.

Yep, it's usually pretty obvious what's increasingly hogging memory. Browsers are notorious for this. But a reboot is a simple, clear-all-the-RAM solution for less savvy, and I'm sure an IT guy is just afraid a user will end a more essential process or service accidentally and freak out because their task bar disappeared and sound stopped working.

Every now and then, some background process will throw an error that lingers in the memory and trickles down to other functions. A reboot is quicker and easier sometimes.

Today me and 3 of my guys went to Port Arthur, TX to do an eviction. The people had already moved out but for legal purposes we still had to do an eviction which included having a Texas Constable on site the whole time we put the people's stuff by the road for them to come get. If they don't get it in 24 hours it goes to the dump via the city or county taking it.

Anyway, the whole time my guys were putting stuff by the road people drove up and kept trying to take stuff. The Constable would tell them that they could not take anything while he was present for legal purposes. Me and him would sit there and just laugh about it. He told me it was a rough neighborhood and that there would probably be nothing left by the morning anyway. We finished the eviction part of our work and still had some other stuff to do but this meant the Constable could now leave.

As soon as he left 8 vehicles pulled up and people started fighting over this trash. We have done a number of evictions and trash outs but I have never seen this shite before. I wish I had taken more pics but I was sort of just in awe of it. Trashy person after trashy person of all colors (but mostly Mexican) pulled up and took off with trash bags not even knowing what was in them. A few bags had just raw pure garbage that stunk and people still took it. One lady took the lower half of a broken office chair, rotten tables that had been out in the rain, etc.

The prize pieces were about 30 10' long treated 2x4s but they all sort of shared those.

I sat there and watched for a solid 15 minutes at the feeding frenzy. It reminded me of throwing fish food into a pond.

By the time we left it was pretty much all gone. If I wouldn't get in trouble with the bank and legal system I could have probably charged $5 per load and made some extra cash.

Some Mexican kids came by with their non-english speaking mother and loaded that goal up on their landscape trailer on top of their mowers.

The kids were freaking pumped up about it.

That's fortunate you get to dump it by the road... We have to load our shite in a trailer and go dump it at the dump. That shite sucks

Edit: WHERE ARE MY PICS!?!?!?!?!?!

If you bag it up most cities or counties will pick it up.

This is an eviction though and you have to put it by the road so that the people have a chance to come get their stuff.

How do you earn or gain more weapons skins for CS:GO? Is it completely random or are there objectives to complete?
