Now you guys, as you know I usually dont get jealous when looking at builds because I build what I want. (No Kids yet)
So rarely does a build honestly make me jelly. This build doesnt make me jelly because of the hardware but the 5xAsus 144hz in portrait. I have always wanted to do this but when I tried surround in landscape it was a terrible experience, none the less, I bet this is awesome!
Soooo jelly so jelly soooooo jelly!

You all have probably viewed this on Reddit, it deserves a post. I know 5x144hz monitors in portrait isn't a new thing, but this video just makes my mouth water.
EDT:
Just to restat, the case/build is terrible looking. Oddly enough, it looks to be running on a 115X socket, no SB-E or IB-E.

I need a 3 or 4 TB HDD. I was looking at this one but not sure if it's worth a crap. Any recommendations?

I saw this on r/gamingpc last night and thought about posting it for this very reason. Ignoring the odd configuration, that's about the ugliest use of expensive hardware I've ever seen.

It really is...
The only smart thing he did was use dual GPUs on that 115x socket. Let the on board CFx bridge and that huge 512bit bus do the work instead of a PLX chip.
EDT: I just dont get dual chip GPUs in full form factor builds. After owning the 690, which was awesome, you have a ton of limits with dual GPU cards which aren't experienced with traditional SLi/CFx set ups.

I've never owned a dual-GPU card, but it seems like the main issue is that it performs like SLI/Crossfire and all the hiccups that can come with it. I'm guessing that the hugest disadvantage would be that if a game actually acknowledges the two GPUs but has terrible problems with flickering, stuttering, artifacting, etc., there isn't any way to mitigate it by disabling one of the GPUs... or is there?

Can't you just turn crossfire/sli off?

I sort of assumed you could but never really looked into it. Dual-GPU cards have never been on my radar because there are limited practical uses for them. But I just did a quick Google a few minutes ago and skimmed a few threads where people complained that it couldn't be disabled in the traditional means through CCC. Could be user error. I'll have to look at it.

That's strange if it's true.

I don't think it's true. I'm reading random threads now about 7990 issues and these folks have had no issues with disabling crossfire. I think the other threads I saw were related to user error or a bug in catalyst. I've had issues in installing some versions of Catalyst where I had to power down and unplug and replug in my second GPU before the crossfire option would come up.

Alright, I have a stupid question. I have Ad Blocker Plus installed, and have had it for a while now. Last weekend I had a party for my birthday, and I streamed the UFC fights from a website. I know that I don't have to download anything when I click on a link, which would do nothing but give me malware/adware/spyware, etc. However, after the fights were over a buddy's gf of mine decided she wanted to use the website and watch something of her own. I am guessing she isn't too bright because the next morning I got on to google chrome and saw like 2 toolbars, and my ad blocker plus was no longer stopping pop up ads. The only one I have not been able to rid myself of is a Suprasavings pop up. I've uninstalled the program, uninstalled the extension in google chrome, and I cannot find it anywhere on my PC (although I don't have a malware finder installed). Even though i've uninstalled the program and the chrome extension, this stupid fricking adware will not stop showing up. How can I get rid of it?
tl;dr - A friends gf downloaded a file from a streaming site and now I can't get rid of the adware associated with the program downloaded. All programs have been uninstalled, to include the extensions but it still shows up.

I'm pretty sure you have to go into the registry and delete some files.
Google the names of the programs and there should be some good walk through on how to fully delete them

I've tried googling suprasavings adware but everything looks and reads like another adware site trying to get you to download their malware product.

I had that from something. I forgot how I got rid of it. I might have used malwarebytes
