Yeah, I sold my 8320 a long time ago... I just wanted one instead of purchasing an E5. The i7s are shtt compared to 6+ physical cores and 8350s.
I have wanted to purchase another XEON anyway, this is my chance.

I don't want a regular 1155/1150 i7, they are shtt. Tried decoding with my old 3770K and it got its arse kicked compared to my 8320. This 4930K does a decent job on my main rig but my Wii U is in the living room, so I want a mATX box to tuck away inside the media console.
x264 just prefers physical cores.

Here we go, a 4C/8T E3 v3 should be fine handling console graphics. This XEON comes with an iGPU so the little fckker can go into an iTX config. PERFECT!
Yes, an OC'd 4770K would beat this thing but for 2/3 the price... not a bad deal.

Well, a 4770k is still better than an FX for x264 because of QuickSync performance. It's definitely not $100+ better, though.
EDIT: Sorry I missed L4D2 co-op last night. My wife woke up with severe ear pain last night, then the baby woke up hungry, so my whole gaming night was shot.

IDK, maybe a 4770 but my 3770 drowned in my 8320s performance when encoding x264.
Blue thats an awesome deal but would have just wanted the chip. I have enough MOBOs in 1155 and 1150 sockets.
Now we have Haswell-E coming in a months and no DDR4 memory on the market really... What the hell will I do?
