That and lots of "I have all the iShit and I can stream stuff and watch netflix...I'm a techie!"

I feel like I'm coming off as a cynical a-hole. I feel bad now.

I want to see how a build thread pans out without our assistance. If it even becomes a build thread.

The TV and audio threads are amusing. I think I'll let them stew a while.

I actually asked a real question yesterday, no responses... Can't say I'm shocked.

What's a good disc imaging/copy program?

I have an mSATA SSD coming in for my laptop today and need to copy everything from my current SSD so I can take it out to use in my HTPC. I am going to run the mSATA SSD and a regular 2.5 HDD in my laptop so I have a bit more storage space.

Anybody have some desk recommendations? I'm thinking of getting an L-shaped desk possibly with some shelving if I can find it. Could prop the PC on the desk if I want, run two monitors, have room for my printer and router, etc.

What kind of desks are you guys using?

Since I know you're an IKEA fanboi, here's mine

This was after I first got it set up. The PC is now on the far right side of the desk

OK. I have to stay away from the Tech Board. They're now talking about $300 sound bars with "excellent" sound. Dude has never even heard excellent sound in his life.

I've got an L-shape and prefer it to my previous setup. Only problem is it's a little too high so I need a new chair or new desk. It has one of those rollout trays for the keyboard I didn't want so I took it off, which I think is why it sits so high up. I may just go wireless kbm but I hate messing with charging/changing batteries

That doesn't look bad, actually. And while I'm not an Ikea lover, I admit, I do like some of their stuff. In fact, I just bought a bed and a nightstand from them.

I'm thinking L-shape for the extra room, but I guess I could just add another table or some kind of shelving unit to what I use now. I do like my roll-tray simply because it has enough room for my keyboard and mouse. I can't stand having the keyboard and mouse at different elevations.
