I think you intel guys can push them in the upper 70s on the core and still be okay. You need to be mindful of you socket temp and VRM temps too.

An 82C threshold is always a rule of thumb for GPUs and non-Xeon CPUs.

Zachary was born 04/14/14 at 8:43 pm, 8 lbs 4 oz and 21.25" long. Had to do an emergency C section because he tried to come out hand first like superman.

No pics yet because

A) the swift c section made his face and head and arm all bruised and swollen and jacked up, like a tiny alien who lost a fist fight. It'll heal over the next few days though

B) all newborns look mostly the same anyway unless they're yours, and really, even when they're yours

Zzzz

I'm glad that mom and baby are ok. Get ready for interrupted sleep for a while.

We have a pretty good system worked out so that we both get close to a full night's sleep each day. This little guy seems less fussy than our daughter was, but we'll see.

I think my power supply died, the tower won't turn on. Anyone have a good deal on a 500w supply? I guess that is my issue

Speaking of power supplies. Seasonic gave me an RMA for the Platinum 1000 that died a while back. Replacement is on the way.
