Has anyone tried the new Mantle drivers and BF4? I'm installing BF4 on my Kaveri HTPC and testing before/after. I read that APUs will see the most gain from Mantle, and rightfully so.

My HIS 270x IceQ arrived today, finally. I must say, HIS impresses again. Not only is it a fully unlocked reference PCB with a bios switch, but it also runs cooler and at a lower fan speed/noise than the Powercolors (all three at same clocks and voltage). It's also getting fewer rejected shares at the same intensity.

Yeah the coolers actually "look" decent and those are some awesome temps for a HIS product.

I never did apply. I had planned to a few days ago, but I'm wrapping up a fairly high-profile project for work, plus I took advantage of the past few days to spend time with my wife and daughter since the schools and daycares were closed. So, life got in the way. If it's not too late, I may apply today, and just send my whole PC guide PDF as a writing sample. Need to do a few edits/updates in the GPU section.

I wouldn't play console ports without it.
Also if you're interested in HL2, use the Cenimatic Mod from FakeFactory. Not linking because I'm on I10.

Over priced.
You don't want to get a shtty GPU and CFx it with Kaveri. Just buy you an Athlon and a decent dedicated GPU if you want to game and a FX if you want to stream.

If you need help, let me know. SweetFX is a mod which can be placed in damn near every game. I run almost all my shtty graphical games with some type of SFX mod.
