Yes sure, I forgot I told you that. Everyone on this board has 2304 cores rocking now.

You have Steam?

This guy right here is now my favorite tigerdroppings user. He helped me so much tonight I'm not even sure I would have any chance of understanding what all he taught me without him

I really need to be closer to a Micro Center. Deals like this 4130 for $59 are ridiculous

LINK

Not that I need a 4130 for anything but at that price I would buy just in case or for a build to sell off.

There's one a few miles from me. You can always give me a list and I can ship it.

Lucky! Closest one to me is 2.5 hours away in Houston.

Or I could pay for it online and you just pick it up and ship it to me and if we ever meet IRL I will have Gardoki give you an HJ as a thank you.

I got a house question for you stout. I don't know how much residential work you do but I figure you still may know.

I have 2 story townhouse with a crawl space underneath. The downstairs kitchen area is mostly tile which is fricking freezing in the winter. Even though i have the heater on and the air is fine in there, the bottom of the room is freezing always. Is there anything I can do for this? Is this an insulation issue or do I just need to get an area rug?

It's all I do. I am a residential GC.

It could be an insulation issue but I doubt insulation would do too much for you to notice. Tile in general just stays cold. I have wood floors in my house and tile in the bathrooms and there is a huge temp difference in the two. My house is on a slab too. I would say get area rugs as the cheapest fix or is there anyway to direct a vent towards the tile or get a little electric heater and sort of aim it slightly down at the tile? That's what I do in my bathrooms.

Speaking of this I made fun of a friend of mine years back for putting radiant heat in his slab for his bathroom tile. I told him we're in Lousiana and it was a waste as it never gets cold here. Guess 6 years later he finally wins with as cold as it's been.

I figured as much. I have tiles downstairs the runs into wood for my living room. The wood stays warm enough but damn that tile. I walked downstairs to let my dog out at 4:30 this morning and my upper half was warm while my lower half was freezing.

Middle-of-the-night pissing has been brutal in my tiled bathroom.

My upstairs tiled bathroom is great. It's not fun taking the dog out at 4:30 and the ground is just covered in ice.

We could be. Did you accept the Steam friend request from Curol (me).

What are your thoughts on running a third card in my system as a dedicated Physx card? Thinking about using one of the 680 Classifieds for that?

That would be worthless, except in a game like Batman. Then again, its still silly.

My regular TIs don't need an OC to max out 1440.
