A few cost savings here and there, but most of your picks were good. A lot of the savings come from simply not being picky about where the parts come from. Newegg is not always the cheapest.

If you're willing to spend more, I'd simply go with the 780 instead of the 770. And if you're willing to spend even more, the 780 Ti. Everything else will be fine for years.

EDIT: Just noticed your reply above. Your build is fine too. I just swapped for slightly cheaper RAM and GPU vendor.

Yeah the 6 series cards also perform like shtt while using more than 2GB of VRAM. Its some type of fckked up way nVidia lets the chip access the access extra resources to overcome limited bandwidth issue with a 256bus.

nah, bottom crate is just added so the psu's could pull air from the bottom.

The other two are my 7950s and they're in my main rig.

yeah, it's right next to my router and I have more than enough cat6 cables or else I would run it wireless. Most people do run wireless so they can hide them and keep them out of ear shot.
