I'm excited and don't know why..
Guess i'm selling the Lightning for 2 of these? IDK.. but keeping nVidia in the main rig. FanBoy
Surely EK will have blocks for these at launch? I hope so.
EDIT:
An OCN member recommended sorting all cards by Highest Price which brings the bundle in around $725. Not build considering you get BF4.

Did you find that somewhere or did you see it yourself? I checked the source code right when it was put out and couldnt find anything.
Edit: Just rechecked and didn't find anything again on price. All it said was "pre-release" on the product_unit_price in lines 1906/1907

Unhide everything.

You know as much fun as I've had playing gtav, I enjoy hearing people complain about online not working right and bugs just because console people always say consoles "just work"and they are so much easier than pc's. It's the same enjoyment I get from Apple issues

Damn that $729.99 price tag
Was really hoping for that $599 price, but $729.99 is probably about right for its performance

Yeah.. price about right. $699 for non-BF4 card?
Faster than a GK110-300 and slower than a GK110-400. RIght between. Hopefully this pushes down 780 prices by $30-$50.

I'm not worried about bf4... I'm getting it for $10 any on release day anyway
I'm going to try to get a 7990 for about ~$500. I saw a few on eBay go for that price

That price sucks. It was supposed to be $600 and therefore deliver a crushing blow to NVIDIA. NVIDIA should knock $100 off their 780.

Any word on when we should start seeing reviews and benchmarks?

So, update on my "Project Move All My Components to the 900D and Upgrade my Water Cooling Largely Contributed by Coyote's Generosity"
Motherboard is out of my case (so now I'm stuck with the laptop). Removed the Yellow Parts of the VRM and Chipset heatsinks and applied a couple coats of metallic silver paint. Brought them inside to dry overnight before final recoats/sanding.
I know that I have technically voided the warranty, which I wanted to avoid, but then I remembered that MSI offers cross-shipping for RMAs if you request it directly by e-mail, so if I need to ever RMA the board for some random malfunction, I could receive the replacement board first, swap out the heatsinks, and send them my board with their heatsinks.
Also sleeved essentially everything, and mounted the top alphacool ST30 rad. Waiting on more things to arrive tomorrow, which is when I will have everything.

We need some more build logs
eta: How about this for some next gen game requirements
Ubisoft is already saying that it's not accurate but damn if it was

yah they are covering all their bases, just like all the custom gaming pc sites.
pricing will be interesting. i wonder if people will expect $100 off since its not coming with a version of windows

So...the big computer crash of July seems to have been a completely corrupted Windows installation.
It gave me an excuse to go out and get a new SSD (Samsung 840 Pro 512gb). So far everything seems to be hunky dory except for the fact that I have to basically redo the PC and of course I have a bazillion Windows updates to do.
From everything I've gleaned it seems prudent to stick with the 3770k right now. The only decision I see on the near horizon is whether or not I want to sell the 680 Classifieds, back plates and water blocks and roll back into the AMD crowd or upgrade to something like SLI 780s or above.

I'm waiting till nvidia releases maxwell before I upgrade again. Just so I know what's on both sides of the fence.
