I can barely justify 1599 for the 4090, much less what they are going for now. 830 for the 4080 is catching my attention. But man, I just like the look of the FE so much.

Yeah, this is the kind of card that you put in a giant, mostly black box case. Performance should be fine, though.

Newegg had an MSI 4080 Super OC in stock yesterday for 1069. I almost blinked. It looked better than that Zotac though.

Just ordered a 4080 Super FE from Nvidia. Pumped. I hope it ships.

They have the "add to cart" button for the 4090 for 1599 right now.

I think the $1,000 4080S is going to take a little bit of pressure off of the 4090. It won’t sit on the shelves, but it will stay in stock for longer.

I am too and on the 3080 as well. As a matter of fact, earlier in this thread I said I would skip the 4080S. I lied to y'all and myself because I've been at the 4080S FE aggressively for a few weeks, knowing good and well that my build is still good.
The good news in all of this is that my kid that is on a 3060TI gets my 3080 now.
ETA: 4090 out of stock at Nvidia. 4080S still available.

I’m still holding strong with my 3080. I think I can hold out until next cycle. Hopefully there isn’t some stupid sale

This is what I was saying and then I decided to do something stupid. But hey, this 4080S will last me a few years, or until the 5090 comes out. Who knows. Life is funny like that.
