Yes, I'm down. I don't game much anymore, but still mess with my many Pis and water cool everything.

Hate to say it but the X3D parts are going to be SUPER expensive. Thats why there's the non 3D parts.
Wouldnt honestly surprise me if the 8 core one is easily $499 this time around up from $449 considering it should easily beat the 13900k.
I kind of also expect some price drops for non X3D chips, $50 or so across the board, probably sooner than later considering slow sales.

Yeah it feels like every gamer out there that's upgrading is waiting for X3D. I have no issue paying $499 an extra $50 over previous for ~30% gaming uplift.

In fairness, I have to think the "gaming only" enthusiast market has to be a small percentage of their overall market share. We just happen to be very, very loud

Here's to hoping AMD brings the noise next week. The RTX 4090 is a performance monster, but Nvidia seems to have stepped on its dick in every other facet of this launch cycle thus far.
